I want to read more and I want to walk more. But the desk on my treadmill is too low and causes neck strain. So, I made an elevated stand. Even better I can move it and use it elsewhere. Exercise is so boring, but I hope this will make it more fun.
Publisher's Weekly
It is finally my turn to share the good news. I’m absolutely tickled pink to work with the Amicus Ink team, and Sarah Hovorka’s story is incredible! I can’t wait for UNICYCLE DAD to get into the hands of young readers.
Commission: "Something Old"
I created this piece for a commission for an upcoming IA/MN SCBWI middle grade and young adult (MG/YA) workshop titled, “Something Old”. I am obsessed with mysteries and murder mysteries. My streaming video feed is almost all mysteries. But I also like history. And you know what’s really old and very cool? Egyptian art and artifacts: hieroglyphs, Egyptian canopic jars, towering statues, and other tomb treasures.

STEM/STEAM: It's All Our Fault(s)
Q: What do cows make during an earthquake?
A: Milkshake!
Art process
I’ve been playing and tweaking my process. I still love to paint acrylic on w/c paper but I’m now assembling all my images digitally in Photoshop. It’s a combo of traditional and digital mediums which has been so fun!
